Interestingly enough, these photos were taken 45 minutes apart.  I was forced to move 15 feet to the left to avoid direct sunlight on the canvas.  Notice the change in the overall color harmonies as the light changes from a backlit to an overhead lit scene.  All this must be expected and the artist must be prepared to work through these changes.
